Let me share some strategies that you can use to make your business ready for 2022.

Think for a moment, if your potential customer is looking for a product/service, what will be the first thing he/she will do? That’s right, he/she will open their phone and search for it. Words that they use to do the search are the keywords. That’s why, it is very crucial to do a thorough keyword research. Make a list of keywords that your potential customers might search and add them to your campaign. You can use Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush or any other tool that you like.

Be Different From Your Competitors

Let’s face it, you are competing with hundreds not thousands of service providers with the same services. Then how would your potential customers find you? Why should they choose you and not your competition? Once you have the answer to this question, you can highlight this in your campaigns and on your website.

With recent core updates launched by Google, it is now more focused on how your website looks on mobile devices. Since most of your potential customers are searching for your product/services on a mobile device, it is imperative that your website should be mobile friendly and user friendly.

Keep An Eye On Performance Metrics

This is as crucial as your marketing strategy. You can not design a new strategy or gauge the performance of your existing strategy without checking your performance metrics or KPIs. Depending upon your goals, decide your performance metrics (or KPIs) in the initial stage.

Don’t Hesitate In Testing New Strategies

Just like not everyone is your customer, similarly not all marketing strategies work for you. In order to find the right one, you need to try many of them. Don’t hesitate in trying new strategies, do A/B testing with your campaigns, ads and content.

Expect The Unexpected

Every good thing takes time. Similarly, your marketing strategy will take time and with this, will come some bad results. Don’t panic, analyze what went wrong and what you can do to improve it and not repeat in the future. That’s why I always stressed keeping an eye on performance metrics. Bad results are bound to come, don’t panic and always keep your cool.

Improve Your Social Media Presence

With the increase in social media users in the last few years, it has become one of the most popular platforms for marketing and connecting with new clients. Most of your potential customers might already be searching for your products/services on social media. The best way to improve your social media presence is to design a roadmap for at least 2-3 months on how and what you are going to post on social media platforms.

Be Patient

Yes, be patient. Just like I said above, you have to be patient with your marketing strategies. It will take time. All the search engines run on AI and AI needs data that takes time to collect. In this process you may feel that you are wasting your money, time and resources on your marketing strategies. Please be patient, you will see the results, but in time.
